    • What will you do to improve the experience of pedestrians in Porirua such as wider footpaths, less on street parking, more green spaces, protection from the wind and rain?

  22. Saving the planet and saving the car can’t happen together. 
    • What are you going to do in the term to actively reduce the number of private cars driving around and being parked on our streets?
  23. Should social housing firstly be offered to those who are locals?
  24. Delaying projects that reduce climate change is a well known strategy by climate change deniers and the fossil fuel industry. 
    • What will you do to ensure projects are started and completed in a timely manner and not delayed constantly by small groups of people?
  25. Did you attend the protest at Parliament in March and what are your thoughts on it now?
  26. We know we need to pay now for essential upgrades that previous councils have avoided because of pushback from homeowners and fear of rates bills.
    • What will you do to stop pushing these expenses onto the younger generations and ensure that this city is maintained as it should be?
  27. This year there will be a Maori Ward Councillor.
    • How do you see Wellington City Council achieving true co-governance with Mana Whenua through you?
  28. Do you agree that if there is a move to introduce volumetric charges for water for residents, it should only be introduced with the consent of the majority of voters?
